1. Lay down 15 lb asphalt impregnated felt and staple or nail every 12 inches. 2. Seal - seams with ASA 603 CEP or roofing cement. 3. Put down 1 - 1 1/4 gallons of ASA 603 CEP per 100 square feet. Squeegee, roll, brush or spray. 4. Lay non-woven polyester fabric into acrylic saturating bottom of fabric. 5. Nail fabric every 12 inches in a diamond shaped pattern. 6. Saturate fabric with ASA 603 CEP. Squeegee works well here. Do not leave heavy globs of Acrylic anywhere. Best results are when surfaces remain smooth. YOU NOW HAVE A ROOF 7. Put down 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 gallons ASA 606 Acrylic. 8. Lay down another layer of fabric saturating bottom side. This fabric layer need not be nailed. 9. Saturate fabric with. ASA 606 Acid Rain Resistant Acrylic again leaving no globs. 10. If necessary, apply an additional coat of ASA 606 to smooth top fabric surface. US Patent #4,870,796 |
